6.5x6.5mm Iolite faceted cubes have a vitreous luster, excellent cut and polish, fairly symmetrical shapes, very well matched for tone on strand, the pleochroic gems have a violetish blue, grey and colorless hue depending on direction of view, and the transparent bodies have a deeply saturated color.
