Iolite faceted trillions measure approximately 6x6x6mm to 7x7x7mm in size, have a vitreous luster, good cut and polish, symmetrical rondelle shapes, well matched on strand, the pleochroic gems have a violetish blue, grey and colorless hue depending on direction of view, and the transparent bodies have visible internal characteristics for a wonderfully rich strand of top drilled trillions of great color.
