Peruvian Opal and Matrix plain nugget beads have an asymmetrical shape with good thickness for this group of fairly consistent opaque beads. These gems have a waxy luster with a minor natural pitting and present as deeply to lightly saturated turquoise-like blue-green hues and ochre brown hues.
