Lepidocrocite Pear Briolettes measure approximately 7x6mm to 11x10mm in size, have a glass like luster with high brilliance, the gems are well cut and polished, each Lepidocrocite bead has a moderately symmetrical body shape and a crystal quartz body with tiny metallic purplish red platelets which catch the light for a warm sparkle throughout the strand. The gems show a very minor amount of feathering for a rare stone with a good make.
