Lepidocrosite Pear Briolettes measure approximately 13x9x4mm to 21x12x6mm in size, have a vitreous luster with high brilliance, superior faceting and polish, a symmetrical body shape, and a crystal quartz body with tiny metallic purplish red platelets which catch the light for a strong sparkle throughout the strand. The gems show internal characteristics other than the platelets for a rare stone with an excellent make grading as AAA quality.
